Hi Matilda here I have been doing heaps of reading in lock down (well I have spare time.) I have been reading Tom Gates, Moby Dick (the Geronimo Stilton version) and Harry Potter. I am enjoying reading Moby Dick because I haven't read it before I heard lots about it. I have also enjoyed reading Tom Gates because I haven't read it before. What books are you reading?

Kia Ora Matilda, It's good to hear about your reading. Perhaps you could write a review of one of the books. You could challenge yourself to write exactly 100 words. A review doesn't give the entire plot of the book, rather it shares an overall idea of the themes and conflicts within it. A review helps other people decide if they want to read the book too.

ReplyDeleteTom Gates is a favourite author in my family too. My son is in Year 6 like you and has just finished reading 'Tom Gates Genius Ideas' and has just started 'Matilda' by Roald Dahl.
