Eels in stories was kind of fun to do. My favourite part was reading Sina and the Eel because it was quite interesting. A challenge was trying to find figurative language. Next time I will try to find more words. Do you like eels? Answer in your comments.

Ka pai Matilda. It looks like you've really had to really dig down into these texts to look for these language features. Now that you've learnt about using descriptive language will you be creating your own text using these features?

Hi Matilda. I probably should use features like similes more. Especially in my poems. I do like trying to choose the most precise verb or adjective to fit a line.
