Formal dinner

Hi Matilda here. During lock down I have created a formal dinner for my family and it was really cool it had. Snacks that included cheeses, salami, avocado and olives. For the second course we had minestrone which was really good then we had mini pizzas and salad they were good to. Then we had dessert which was chocolate moose with  cream and pavlova well watching The third Harry Potter which wasn't as good as the movie. I also made this by myself with a menu (it was one of the rich challenges on the kauri team site). I hope that you enjoy lock down ( :
Blog you later, Matilda

  1. Kia ora Matilda. Great job preparing such a feast. It sounds delicious. What was your favourite part (mine would be the avocado)? And did you find anything really challenging? I've just been on the Kauri team site and it looks like there are heaps of fun activities to do! Can't wait to see what else you post on your blog.

  2. Hi Phil, thanks for commenting on my blog.
The most challenging part was he chocolate moose because some of the egg yolk got into the egg white and we had to crack the eggs again. I am going to do some more challenges but they are quite hard.
    Bye, Matilda

  3. Hi Matilda, thanks for the idea. I haven't had minestrone for ages, did you put grated cheese in yours? I've been trying to make really good pikelets for my family, any tips?
