Kupe biography

Hi this is my Kupe biography that I have been working on for a while. I enjoyed doing a biography because I could find facts and work by myself. Have you ever written a biography?
Bye, Matilda.

He had power and sometimes he abused that power. For example he killed his cousin so he could have his cousin’s wife. To make it worse he didn’t end up marrying her. That is the reason why he fled and went to Aotearoa, where he and his crew fought a giant octopus.  This chase led him to New Zealand where he travelled around the country discovering new places. Eventually he went back to Hawaiiki. There is another idea on why he left his homeland. There was a food shortage in Hawaiiki and he tried to find some food by travelling across to Aotearoa. He fought a giant octopus then travelled around New Zealand naming diffrent places. Travelling around Aotearoa he found green stone and then fought the giant Octupus. His wife Hine-Te-Aparangi and his two daughters thought he had died. The myth says they cut themselves with sharp rocks and to this day in Wellington there are white rocks with red on them.
